Church of the Wittenberg CastleLuther’s 95 theses

According to legend, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses against indulgences to the door of the church of the Wittenberg castle on 31 October 1517. In all likelihood, it did not happen this way. Soon after the event the 95 theses were printed as a broadsheet.
